A carving by Peter Libby - Date of completion unknown. It was given to us by a customer in payment for work accomplished. We have had it in the family since the mid 1970s ... It has continued to be an inspiration for all of us to be reminded of how fortunate we are to live in the United States of America. Also, we appreciate the skill and creativity of Mr. Peter Libby.

Lewis, Linda, Terry and Ronnie have passed on. Terry was the last to leave us this past year (2021). The early onset of blindness was the root cause of a number of complications such as kidney disease. My dad saw to it that they learned how to cane by being trained by the Rhode Island Bureau of the Blind and each other. I wanted to show the family who have been major players in the weaving of hundreds of chairs, stools, and other special furniture over the years, thereby influencing the direction and development of our services as time passed. My sister Judi having retired from banking has decided to pitch in and pick up some of the caning work Terry would have done.
